Ashar Group started their business activities way back in 1963 and set up the company by the name of R.D. Ashar Engineering Div. (currently known as R. D. Ashar Pvt. Ltd.) with the help of Japanese Engineers for the manufacturing of Metal Mesh Conveyor Belts. R.D. Ashar Pvt Ltd. is a pioneer in the development of Metal Conveyor Belts in India & serves customers ranging from food processing to aerospace.

    In the year 1988 a new Company was started by the name of Flow Systems Pvt. Ltd., which is engaged in the manufacturing of Heavy Duty Vibratory Screens & Conveyors.

    Nibha Engineering & Electronics Pvt. Ltd. the other group company, is engaged in the manufacturing of various types of Conveyor Systems and Conveyor Components.

The Group's business activities are located at prime location at Wagle Industrial Estate, Thane (Near Mumbai) and T.T.C. Industrial Area, Mahape, Navi Mumbai (Maharashtra), India.

    The Group was founded by Late Mr. Ranchhoddas D. Ashar. Later on the company grew under the stewardship of Mr. Dharmaraj R. Ashar. He was actively involved in the day to day activities of the company till his sad & sudden demise in early 1999.

    Mr. Ritin D. Ashar is the Managing Director of M/s R.D. Ashar Pvt. Ltd. He is a well known personality in the business circle of Mumbai.

    Mr. Hari Kumar S. Menon is the Director of M/s R.D. Ashar Pvt. Ltd. Besides he is the Director of M/s Flow Systems Pvt. Ltd. and M/s Nibha Engineering & Electronics Pvt. Ltd.

    The Group has a total work force of about 60 people. Mr. Harikumar looks after the day to day activities of the Group.
